Annie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of Dietitian’s Australia.
Annie is extremely passionate about helping people through nutrition and high quality, patient-centred care. With experience performing in a diverse range of settings, Annie has the ability to empower individuals and groups to improve their nutritional health and wellbeing.
Annie’s current role at Optimum Intake is providing vital nutrition support to clients within Residential Aged Care Facilities, helping older Australians optimise their functioning and independence and increase their quality of life. Annie also works together with Aged Care providers to identify effective strategies and action plans to support nutrition and hydration and to ensure their organisations are compliant with the Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQS), especially with respect to food provision and nutritional care. This can include menu design and review, meal planning and preparation, mealtime experience and environment, assistance with feeding/drinking, mealtime support options, clinical and food service audits, advisory services around nutrition governance, policies and procedures, in addition to staff and consumer education.
Annie graduate with a Master of Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Newcastle and commenced working with Optimum Intake Dietitians in 2021.
