Karly Zacharia BN&D APD (Hons)
Karly Zacharia is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. Karly graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics (Hons, Class I) from the University of Newcastle and has joined Optimum Intake in 2019 to continue her passion for working one-on-one with clients on nutrition related issues whilst also conducting research in the role of nutrition in preventing strokes.
Karly has a particular interest in the Mediterranean pattern of eating and using delicious and nutritious foods to help prevent conditions like heart disease and stroke. She is also experienced in oncology care, helping to guide clients through treatment to support their nutrient needs. Karly enjoys working onsite in the Optimum Intake clinic rooms and also travels to provide home visit nutrition services to our clients who have extra needs.
Karly comes to nutrition and dietetics with a love of all things food and offers practical advice tailored to fit into a client’s lifestyle and their tastebuds. Being a busy mum whilst undertaken many years of study has led to her being able to provide quick, tasty and cost effective nutrition advice and strategies to help transform busy and stressful lifestyles into more productive, satisfying and tasty meals leading to a more confident, relaxed and sustaining lifestyle habits.
