Phillipa Whitehouse BN&D APD (Hons)
Phillipa is a passionate Accredited Dietitian who assists clients to find enjoyment in food, identifying what is important to them and finding their motivation to make positive and sustainable behaviour changes, leading to optimum health.
Phillipa has a special interest in managing chronic conditions such as malnutrition, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, disordered eating, mental health, and cardiovascular disease. She enjoys engaging and assisting with Residential Aged Care Facility residents, staff and suppliers to promote enjoyment of food and optimised nutrition provision and services relevant to the consumer’s life stage.
Phillipa aspires to apply the principles of nutritional science in a simple, supportive, practical, and client-centred manner, with an aim to provide tailored advice to support client’s achieve optimal nutrition and promote extended independence and quality of life.
Phillipa is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Nutritionist and a member of the Dietitian’s Association of Australia. In 2019, Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) from the University of Newcastle.
