Samantha Dietze is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics (Hons) from the University of Newcastle and commenced working with Optimum Intake Dietitians in 2019 Samantha enjoys all areas of Dietetics with a particular interest in working with people living with a disability by offering a person-centred focus in supporting clients with cognitive, physical, sensory, neurological and intellectual limitations under the NDIS. Samantha enjoys developing practical resources and tools to assist with eating, feeding and cooking including portion tools and meal time feeding resources, shopping tours, food safe handling, enhanced recipe and meal development. Samantha utilises her skills in the kitchen and her sound nutrition based knowledge to also help our ageing population remain independent in their own homes by delivering her nutritional interventions via home based dietetic services. She enjoys providing tailored nutritional advice to meet client’s health goals and promote long-term sustainable changes. Samantha grew up on the Central Coast and spent a lot of time in the Newcastle area, as a result, she is truly invested in the local community and its people. She is passionate about building a vibrant community through promoting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of people in an inclusive and respectful environment.
