Kelly is a dedicated dietitian on Optimum Intake’s Adult Disability Team. She is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and a member of Dietitian’s Australia.
Kelly’s interest in nutrition grew when she discovered the positive impact food and nutrition can have on both physical and mental wellness. This inspired her to study nutrition so she could help others to support their physical and mental wellbeing through nutrition.
As a dietitian, Kelly has seen and experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to make meaningful changes to nutrition while battling conflicting nutrition information. Kelly can help to overcome these difficulties by providing evidenced-based nutrition advice that is practical and relevant to you and your lifestyle or circumstances.
Kelly understands the importance of effective communication and expertly breaks down nutrition information and education into ‘easy to digest’ pieces that make implementing changes more manageable. Kelly adopts a client-centered approach to nutrition and supports her clients to increase confidence and independence with food and nutrition.
Kelly has a special interest in disability nutrition and enjoys supporting her clients achieve their goals.
Kelly graduated with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Canberra.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys running, being outdoors and going out for brunch.
